Just Notes is built by MaddaTech ("we," "our," or "us"). We believe your notes are personal and private. This policy explains how Just Notes handles your data — the short version is: your notes stay on your device, and we don't collect them.

2. How Your Data is Stored

Local Storage

All notes you create in Just Notes are saved locally on your device. We do not have access to your notes, and they are never sent to MaddaTech servers.

Google Drive Backup

Just Notes offers an optional backup feature using Google Drive. If you choose to enable this:

  • You sign in with your own Google account directly through Google's authentication — we never see or store your Google password.
  • Your notes are backed up to your own Google Drive storage, not to our servers.
  • We only request the minimum permissions needed to read and write backup files in your Google Drive.
  • You can disconnect Google Drive or delete your backup at any time from within the app or from your Google account settings.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we don't do:

  • We do not read or access your notes
  • We do not collect personal information, accounts, or emails through the app
  • We do not track your usage or behavior
  • We do not show ads or share data with advertisers
  • We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs

4. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service Just Notes connects to is Google Drive, and only when you explicitly choose to enable backup. Google's use of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it.

5. Children's Privacy

Just Notes does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app simply saves notes to your device and optionally to your Google Drive.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last Updated" date above. For significant changes, we'll notify you through an in-app notice.
